The new Bitcoin Core 0.14 is coming — and it’s making it easier to get a stuck Bitcoin Transaction confirmed faster and it also speeds up Blockchain Downloading
The final 0.14 Bitcoin release is nearing and it is solving a major issue for Bitcoin users having their transaction stuck and unconfirmed.
It does not need anymore tutorials how to get a Bitcoin transaction confirmed and unstuck. It will be possible by default with the new Bitcoin Core client’s release 0.14.

Unstuck Bitcoin Transactions
There are many other changes but getting a Bitcoin transaction unstuck is one of the most interesting one.
If you send out a transaction with a fee that is too low, you can rebroadcast it more easily with the new Bitcoin Core to get it confirmed with a higher fee.
The process being used in the new version is called “bumpfee”.
You will be able to do this by opening the console, typing in “bumpfee help” and see example commands of how this works. This previously required some manual tweaking, switching wallet software or other things. Which worked great, but it now will be faster. You will be able to do it without even restarting the client.
There is nothing much to write about it rather than it is an awesome step from developers for making it more useable for people who don’t want to mess around with tweaks and workarounds.
It’s now being a lot faster
While current clients take some time to download and validate the blocks, this new release will make it faster. A lot faster. The size of the blockchain that needs to be downloaded will be the same since it is not compressed, but you can experience less waiting time. If your computer and your Internet connection can process it fast enough.
