Coinhall Community Update

May has been an unforgettable month for everyone in the Lunatics community. The breakdown of the Terra ecosystem surfaced an outpour of stories; many faced devastating financial losses and maybe even ridden by the guilt of influencing closed ones prior to Terra. There has been much emotional upheaval, and we’re sending ❤️ to everyone, especially when certain moments hit harder than others.

Despite this, we have seen how the community and builders stood back up quickly to rally the growth of Terra 2.0. There was no doubt that the vision was still there to stay, and the passion was burning evermore. We want to express our gratitude to the contributors who have spent endless effort and strategising new ways to bounce back; all is not lost.

We also promised to provide an update when the dust settles. We’ve been having lots of conversations; and now, with clearer eyes, we’ll tell you what we see and will do ahead:

Coinhall was started to provide accurate and reliable data for you to make more informed decisions, subsequently introducing the DEX aggregator. That hasn’t changed. We will continue building a comprehensive, personalised, and user-friendly platform to accompany your DeFi journey. Terra (Classic) was our first common destination, and we will continue to light your path in Terra 2.0.

So, what’s next? Our plans for multi-chain integrations have now accelerated, and we are excited to unveil support for new chains that you can expect in Q3 2022:

• NEAR
  The bridge to interoperability kickstarts with NEAR. Its unique sharding tech and high developer focus mark our first adventure outside Cosmos. With its aim to process up to 100k> TPS, notable gasless EVM layer, and IBC-compatible parachains, NEAR promises immense growth potential alongside higher scalability.
• Juno
  We will continue pursuing our dream in IBC to unite your favourite chains into a single seamless experience. The Juno team has been openly supportive of Terra builders and the solid shared values and ecosystem backing will help us pave the way in the land of cosmwasm to provide our resources for the broader community.
• Terra 2.0
  Coinhall will be providing live price charts and a community validator for the new chain. We would love to have your continued support with your vested LUNA. What happens to Terra Classic and your LUNC? We will continue running our community validator for as long as it makes sense.

We would like to thank all our Intern, Engineer, Astronaut, and Moonwalker tiered users who have supported us and helped pioneer our Stake-2-Subscribe model since the beginning. We are fortunate to have such a community backing us, and we look forward to what the future brings.
