Being a good Medium friend, I tried a search using his name. The first: a “real” but instead of his face as was shownin my 2 different emails announcing his alleged follows, there appears instead a red diamond. Interestingly, that red diamond caused me to immediately think of the red queen playing card that was the trigger for poor Laurence Harvey in that impeccable movie “The Manchurian Candidate” directed by John Frankenheimer. Now I am rethinking Trump’s candidacy, of course. The brainwashing would be instantaneous and easy, not tedious and longterm as in the movie. One would only need say, “I like you!” and one would have one’s assassin or at least one’s ass to do one’s bidding. But I digress. (Imagine that.)

Back to my search: there is also a “CitizensforTrump” which might, in fact, be what replaced his personal follows. They haven’t published a thing so you can’t yet publish your story as a response. I worried that if you did post it they’d respond unendingly with “stooopid” and “loooser” or that “blood was coming out of her ‘wherever’” or maybe even “all Sherry’s should not be allowed into the country…” and other of their whining leader’s erudite comments but then I realized that after reading your piece they’d believe you had talked yourself into supporting him. So I suspect you’ll not be harassed. My guess is that most won’t get irony. I could be wrong, of course. Just yell if you need help!

I do find it odd that he appeared, disappeared, reappeared only to disappear, again. Sort of like his well thought out, well played ground game in Iowa and now in South Carolina via Baton Rouge.

What is he doing coming and going in Mediumland? Oops.

I don’t really want to know. That was rhetorical. (If that latter group should read this I hope that in looking up the word “rhetorical” they will forget they saw this.)

The upside of searching, besides helping a friend: the intelligent and funny pieces listed under “stories” before I switched to “people.” From what I have read so far, I can now imagine why he disappeared as he did for the last debate before Iowa. The writers of most of these stories make Megan Kelly’s perfectly “fair and balanced” question, the one that caused him such terror, seem tame. Interesting reading ahead!
