Great! I’ll try to get everything packed and mailed by Tuesday. Jack Russell fur will pack itself. Mine always sleep under the covers, too and are like popcorn at the door and when we prepared their food. Popcorn popping: perfect picture. Kozmo rolled right off the bed this morning: a rude awakening but bounced right on up and out.
You, the boys and Solitary Cook lift my spirits, too. I’m so glad she asked about the cameras, glad I read it. Sometimes, actually often, the obvious whizzes right past me.
I hope Joel burns or cuts up or in some other ways rids the world of that prison shirt and is soon free to see himself as free of any label, free to see himself in all the other boys who cried because they love him, free to see himself in you. He can hang on to that template if himself and live until he is ready to make his own. I hope Joel labels himself his true self defines and rids the world of any label assigned by his father, sister, the prison and whatever got him there, even HIV. No easy task but achievable with his Smash Street Family.
I’ll let you know when everything is in the mail.
