Not when it turns out that said three year old is most likely just this side of one!

My goodness, that handsome Moseley absolutely does resemble a kangaroo! He seems delightful in every way.

Our Kozmo, named by Russell Rescue, joined our household about the same time Moseley came to live with you, a couple of weeks before Halloween, for which he dressed as a clown. We, too, were told Koz was 3. I am beginning to wonder if this might be a ploy on the part of dog rescues. Has some study shown that 3 is the best age for a dog to join his forever home? I wonder. I watched Kozmo carefully when he arrived and in less than 10 minutes, I knew he wasn’t 3.

He ran at full speed never looking ahead. He stared straight up enthralled with the squirrels he saw in our canopy of trees. His new sister Russell, Abby, sighed and went back inside. She was embarrassed at what she saw coming.

Kozmo had no dignity. He ran right into our 6 foot cedar fence, as would anyone who ran looking up. He did it again and again and again. For 2 days. Such a “potentially barren cerebral architecture” did not belong to a dog aged 3. Our Vet confirmed: Koz is a puppy a bit over 1.

He looks more like a shag rug than a kangaroo.

And he agrees: Moseley is lucky! As are you and David. We look forward to reading more of his antics and happy life.

Congratulations!
