Stick with that story: I know it is true, especially if they didn’t ask for their money back! I’m impressed.

We were always putting on plays, all of us. We had such a great neighborhood, full of kids! You have me thinking back now…I can’t complain, a bit. My poor sister might. We were always making her dress as a bride with 14 half-petticoats which surely got hot in Houston’s humid and scorching summers. She probably looked more like the cake!
