The office of Deloitte (one of the “Big Four” audit companies) in Minsk (Belarus) installed a conpay terminal allowing to make payments with cryptocurrency. This took place on July 23.

“Our philosophy implies an intensive expansion of the network of conpay terminals all over the world. The fact that the representatives of such giants as Deloitte, Michelin, Apple have joined our network proves the international busines’ extremely high need in using cryptocurrencies and belief in their future. It is honor for us to serve as a guide for the business into the world of cryptocurrencies, and we will keep on enhancing our activity,” said the conpay co-founder Vladimir Serzhanovich.

The conpay terminals are already installed in the network of TYREPLUS Michelin tire service centers, as well as at the authorized Apple reseller cafeConnect. Currently, several tens of organizations in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine are to be the next in installing the terminals.

Previously, the conpay project announced the launch of Pre-ICO preparation, which starts on August 28 and runs until September 11 this year. As a result of the tokens sale, it is expected to raise USD 500 thousand. The funds raised will be used for further product updating, marketing and start of the work on active creation of the conpay network.

Deloitte is one of the leading promoters of blockchains and cryptocurrencies.

“Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies face a marketplace that is ripe for disruption. The payment systems in the US and the rest of the world are in dire need of overhaul. Many of today’s payment systems are considered slow, error prone and expensive relative to performance in other high-tech industries. Cryptocurrencies are a strong option to help deliver outcomes while doing so cheaply and conveniently, but there are some challenges to overcome first”, the head of Deloitte international center of cryptocurrencies Eric Piscini reported in his “State-sponsored cryptocurrency. Adapting the best of bitcoin’s innovation to the payments ecosystem”.

The essence of the conpay project is the creation of a network of terminals with zero transactional payments making it possible to effectively and simply use cryptocurrencies as a means of settlements around the world.

“The objectives of conpay and Deloitte coincide. Therefore we are confident that the introduction of the terminals will lead to a rapid change in the global payment ecosystem, so that micropayments in cryptocurrency to become convenient, simple and routine”, said of the conpay CEO Inna Samovich.
