History

After the defeat of Shatavahana in 220 CE, the Pallavas, Anand Gotrika, Vishnukundina, Eastern Chalukyas and Chola dynasty ruled this Telugu land. The inscription evidence of the Telugu language was found in the 5th century AD during the reign of Renati Chola (Kadapa region). 322–297 BC Megasthanis, who visited Chandragupta Maurya’s court, said that Andhra was a three-strong city in the country and had an army of 1000 elephants, 200 cavalry and 100,000 infantry. The Vishnukundina kings, whose capital was Vinakonda, made the Telugu language the official language. Around 1022 AD, the Chalukya ruler Rajaraja Narendra ruled over Rajahmundry. The Kakatiya dynasty emerged in the 12th and 13th centuries. The Kakatiya dynasty were the first feudatories of the Rashtrakutas to rule a small area of ​​Varangal. In 1323 AD, Sultan of Delhi Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq sent his army under Ulagh Khan to conquer the Telugu country and seize Warangal in which King Prataparudra was taken captive.In 1326 AD, the Musunuri Nayaks rescued Warangal from the Delhi Sultanate and ruled it for 50 years.
Harihar and Bukka established the Vijayanagara Empire, which is the largest empire in the history of Andhra Pradesh and India.

An independent nation, the Bahmani kingdom was established in South India in 1347 AD by Ala-ud-din Hasan Gangu. From the beginning of the 16th century to the end of the 17th century, the Qutub Shahi dynasty ruled the Andhra state.
From the 17th century, the British took control of many parts of the country and established the Madras Province. After independence, Telugu speaking was separated from Madras province.A new state was created on 1 October 1953, named Andhra Pradesh. After the formation of the State Reorganization Act 1956, the state of Hyderabad was merged with Andhra Pradesh to form the state of Andhra Pradesh. Language Telugu is the official language of the state. Which is spoken by (88.5%) people of Andhra Pradesh. After this, Urdu language is most spoken here. Urdu is spoken by the people here (8.63%). This is followed by the Tamil language which is spoken by (1.01%) people. Names of languages ​​spoken in Andhra Pradesh are less than (1%). Here Kannada which is spoken by (0.94%) people. This is followed by Marathi which is spoken by the people here (0.84%). In the third place, Hindi is the language spoken by (0.63%) people here. Then Oriya which is spoken by (0.42%) people, then Gonda and Malayalam which is spoken by (0.21%), (0.01%) people here. Less than 1% of the languages ​​spoken by the state residents are Savara (0.09%), Gujrati (0.09%), Koya (0.08%), Jatapu (0.04%), Punjabi (0.04), Komali. (0.03%), Konda (0.03%), Gadba (0.02%), Sindhi (0.02%), Nepali (0.01%) and Khond (0.01%).
