Smooth Sailing — AAWC’s First Experience

Dec 4, 2015 · 1 min read

ConnectFor matched Apne Aap Women’s Collective with a volunteer who helped them with their office admin work, manually entering data from handwritten registers into a digital log.

“AAWC got in touch with a motivated volunteer just 2 weeks after we filled up the opportunity curation form. The background of the organization, tasks that were expected to be fulfilled and the work policy of the organization had been already communicated to the volunteer which made it quite a smooth sail. The work of the volunteer has thus begun in less than a months’ time and it has been well- coordinated process! We have already filled in forms for a few more opportunities :)” — Shikha, AAWC

Apne Aap Women’s Collective is an an anti-trafficking organization that serves the women and children of Kamathipura, the red light area of Mumbai.
