Technology has been ever since emerging but the fields it is emerging into is fascinating! From the food we eat to the way we speak, from the way we search to the way we learn, everything is being revolutionized by technology. It has become the need of the hour to keep ourselves updated with the latest trends in every industry and try our best to give our bit to make our lives better and easy in any way possible.

Below mentioned are some opportunities to be a part of the emerging technologies.

Fellowships:

1. Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) Programme. Applications accepted on rolling basis.
2. Science & Technology Policy Fellowships— Applications closes on November 1st.
3. Become a teaching fellow — Applications accepted on rolling basis.
4. The U.S. Department of Energy’s Building Technologies Office Emerging Technologies (ET) program — funding to develop energy efficient replacement lamps — Submission deadline for letter of intent: May 6, 2016, 5 p.m. ET.
5. Dept. of Biotechnology, IIT Roorkee , India— Senior Research Fellow— Auxin-Cytokinin interaction & its functional significance during Rice crown root development. Submission deadline: 11th May, 2016.
6. Dept. of Biotechnology, IIT Roorkee, India— Junior Research Fellow — Experimental verification of SCS curve numbers for selected Soli & Land uses. Submission deadline: 11th May, 2016.
