HeroFi: The Beginner’s Guide

Today we’re going to show you some of the core gameplay aspects that HeroFi has to offer.

We understand that learning a new game and all gameplay mechanics involved can be a daunting, and sometimes even frustrating task.

We are here to make this task easier for all new players. After reading this article you will be set and ready to explore the world of HeroFi!

HeroFi Overview

What is HeroFi exactly?

HeroFi is an aRPG game based on blockchain technology. Build your army and fight fierce battles! aRPG games have stood the test of time and remain as one of the most successful game genres on mobile.

Leveraging the power of blockchain technology, HeroFi uses NFTs to allow players easy item trading capabilities. Not only is it incredibly easy to trade your items, you can also turn these items into other digital assets. This allows players to make a profit doing what they love most — playing games!

Core Gameplay

Players will join every battle with 3 heroes and 4 soldiers. Each hero has a unique set of abilities and skills (more information about this will be provided down below). Soldiers can be used to strengthen your attack, at the cost of energy.

At the end of the battle players are rewarded with EXP, upgrade materials, equipment components and other items to craft new heroes. As you progress and upgrade your army you will get opportunities to fight stronger foes, and reap greater rewards.

HeroFi offers an auto-battle type system for more casual players, while also offering manual control for more hardcore and skilled players. We want to make sure we have a place for everyone here!

Gameplay Modes

HeroFi hosts a wide variety of classic aRPG gamemodes!

• Campaign mode
• Tower mode
• PVP battles
• World bosses

The campaign mode is great to start of your HeroFi adventure. It will provide linear progression. This gives players plenty of opportunities to gain items and materials to upgrade your heroes — which are important steps to becoming a HeroFi legend!

The tower mode allows member to climb a tower, with each “floor” becoming more difficult than the last. Each floor has rewards, including Rofi token (the native HeroFi token).

The PVP mode allows players to test their teams versus other players. There will be PVP tournaments with real-world prizes. This gamemode brings a fun twist to a otherwise PvE oriented game. Fight other teams for fun, or try your hand and becoming one of the best teams and win real world prizes!

Heroes

Heroes are unique characters that players can choose to fight their battles with. Each hero comes with its own skills, statistics and strategies.

There are different types of heroes:

• Warrior
• Ranger
• Mage

These heroes also have elements associated with them:

• Fire
• Grass
• Thunder
• Water
• Dark
• Light

By default the maximum level a hero can obtain is level 30. After reaching this level they can choose to undergo ascension. Doing this will increase the hero’s star level, which will increase the hero’s stats. They can then train their hero back up to level 30 and undergo a second round of ascension. This process can be repeated up until a star level of 6 is reached.

Each hero has 4 skills. These skills can have different attributes:

• Melee damage
• Area damage
• Healing
• Elemental effects

Skills can be boosted if they have the same elemental attributes as the hero’s element.

Heroes can get married and give birth to a brand new NFT hero. The child Hero can inherit the elemental attribute from one of the parents, with the following probability:

The child’s skill set is randomly picked from the parents skill pool.

Equipment

HeroFi has hundreds of unique items for you to collect and trade. Each item will provide your hero with unique stats that will help them take down even the toughest of foes!

Items can be classified under different types and rarities:

• Jewellery
• Boots
• Mystic Items

Rarities:

• Common
• Rare
• Epic
