Christmas
December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. Does Christmas mean the gifts under the tree, cards in the mail, dinner with family and friends and shouts of Merry Christmas? Is this really Christmas? Christmas is a sad time for many people. They don’t have money for gifts, They don’t have lavish dinners. They don’t have loved ones near. Yet Christmas is a season of joy. It is a time to remember God’s love for us. It is a time of healing and love. God so loved the world that he sent his son. Christmas is about an incredible act of love. We celebrate Christmas out of gratitude for what God did for us. We remember his birth by giving gifts. Christmas is about love. Christmas is about Christ’s birthday and it is meant to be celebrated.
