Positive Mental Listening

I’m annoyingly positive, throw what you like in my direction and there is always something to laugh and smile about, and yes this includes cancer and death.

After the 4 millionth time of saying think of the positive because thinking of the negative really does nothing for you, I had a eureka moment… and someone had already done the had work for me…

Positive mental thinking is all about your inner voice. It’s you speaking to you, if you constantly reaffirm yourself, and think positively you won’t make things happen, but you will go about failing in a much better mood. So when something good does happen you suddenly feel a billion times better… now, rinse and repeat this everyday, in every action you take, and suddenly you are happy all the time. Well, not happy all the time, you need drugs for that. But you see goals as achievable, you see your actions working, you get a sense of worth and wellbeing…

So… inner voice can be thought of as your inner soundtrack, the music that follows you everywhere… it’s your hum.

What did this remind me of, well it reminds of when you swap out the sound track to well known movie clips… ‘that shower scene’ in Psycho changes quite a bit without the screechy music.

So, don’t make huge changes, you don’t need to, if you know you’re focusing on the negative it’s possibly just your inner radio station that needs changing.
