Users can now easily select precise Avalanche validators and delegate AVAX on-the-go

In the dynamic world of DeFi, staking your AVAX should be simple and direct. Core wallet for iOS and Android delivers just that with its new feature, Stake. Stake provides newbies and DeFi veterans the fastest and most seamless way to interact with the Avalanche network on-the-go.

How Stake Improves Token Staking

Stake in Core mobile provides a simple interface to stake on Avalanche. It takes advantage of the protocol’s native delegation to allow users to participate directly on the Avalanche network without navigating complex processes or technical jargon.

What Is Staking?

Staking is an essential part of proof-of-stake (PoS) Sybil resistance mechanisms used by many blockchain networks, including Avalanche. Users secure the network by locking up the value of their tokens and receive rewards in return.

Validators and delegators maintain the network by staking tokens. Validators run their own nodes and receive rewards directly from the network. They must put up a minimum of 2,000 AVAX, maintain hardware, and be active on the blockchain. In order to foster broad participation, delegators who stake their AVAX with validators (also referred to as “delegation”) may also participate in consensus by staking as little as 25 AVAX and receiving a portion of rewards received by the validator.

Stake in Core mobile makes delegation easy and accessible. It’s built for everyone — from those new to Avalanche to experienced users needing a convenient and efficient way to stake AVAX.

Stake’s Key Features

Stake is also a true self-custody solution. You maintain complete control over your assets at all times, eliminating intermediaries and extra fees.

Staking is straightforward, just three taps away on Core mobile. You can start with as little as 25 AVAX to delegate.

Advanced users will also love Stake in Core mobile because its intuitive UI also contains an advanced user flow, allowing you to set predefined parameters to suit your staking needs, such as filtering validators by delegation fees and uptimes.

What’s the Difference Between Stake Mobile and Web?

The range of features. Stake in Core mobile focuses primarily on enabling users to delegate AVAX. Stake in Core web allows for both delegating and validating on Avalanche. It offers a more comprehensive experience with additional control and info, making it ideal for power users who want to strategically participate in the network.
