While this system creates food stability, it was reached farther then ever expected and in our opinion wanted. Cold storage in this sense does not increase food quantity, just options. Why can’t we limit seasonal foods to their appropriate time periods. Eat more apples in the fall and more tomatoes in the summer? And by doing do, secure the nutritional value of the food we eat.
