Life is a wonder. Time is relentless. Change is inevitable… and all of it together is so incredibly beautiful. We battle and triumph… stumble and fall. We make friends and we make mistakes. People say you should live without regrets but are you really human without them?

Sunlight in our minds, rain falling in our hearts.

We raise children and pass on whatever we can. We try to make it the best of what we have. We look at them and experience incredible fear while we are simultaneously filled with such a pure hope. One day passes, and then another… and then another. Always, we look forward, until those days we look back. Sometimes we simply look in the mirror… that reflective glass, when we normally only glance. We wonder at that person whose always there to meet our gaze. Wonder who we are, what we’ve done and where we are going… who defines our path? Sunlight in our minds, rain falling in our hearts.

Our very existence held on a precipice of feeling, experience, memory and pain. We are really and truly alive… and we never will be again.

Happiness and sadness wrapped together, tightly bound and breathing…. breathing. Are we breathing? In and out our breath continues without thought. Heart beating. This is our session, our time to make decisions, to live our day to day and be and do and say and feel… and cry and think and laugh and deal. Deal with it all, or give it to a higher source.
