Elkridge, MD (October 24, 2019) — Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today it has partnered with the Annapolis Running Classic to manage operations and logistics for the ninth annual event on November 16, 2019.

CSE has earned its national reputation of excellence by owning and operating some of the largest events in the endurance industry over the last two decades, including the recently completed Baltimore Running Festival which attracted 20,000 runners from every state and 17 foreign countries.

The Annapolis Running Classic consists of a half marathon and 10K distance which showcase historic Annapolis, including Main Street, Church Circle and the City Dock waterfront. The courses will start and finish in the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, which will also hold the post-race festivities. Amenities include warm soup, cold Blue Point Brewing Company craft beer and fresh oysters.

Lee Corrigan, president of CSE, said, “We’re excited to build on the tradition this event has built within the Annapolis running community. Runners can look forward to beautiful fall views of our state capital along with a professionally managed experience from expo packet pick-up thru the post-race party.”

The CSE staff, along with race directors Craig Harrison and Lisa Fontaine, met with City of Annapolis personnel (police, special events) and Anne Arundel County police to confirm all final course and traffic logistics.
