Broken Windows: Why Music Release Strategies Must Change

Lots of really good points here.

A little off topic but in a similar vain, I personally don’t understand this idea of letting one radio entity stream a full album before other stations or stores have access to it. Those streams of full albums end up on the torrents before they can be purchased or heard anywhere else! There should be a way for all interested radio stations to have the music at once, they can then pick the single tracks that best fit best on the station’s particular format. Making the full album available for one institution so rippers can be first to torrent the cd makes no sense to me.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
