“I’m not saying more First Nations people died in the Civil War, but certainly more people were slaughtered in total in military action against First Nations than died on both sides in the Civil War. That slaughter continues to this day.

Thank You for your clarification !

There is no question that American Indian tribes were eliminated as much as possible by different governments of The United States of America. Treaties were broken multiple times and the responsibility for the systematic driving of the native peoples to reservations and near extinction IS documented. I would like to see your figures (actual numbers) and links to verify the above statement. As for the “slaughter” continuing to this day, you need to back up this statement with bonafide research and verifiable information best referenced with direct links to your sources.

If you don’t supply this proof, it illustrates how you are just spouting off about stuff that deserves actual proof not just opinionated chatter. Where our your pictures of the alleged misdeeds in Dakota last year ? If you really care about these events you need to put in the work to show people the “real” truth.

Look it Jacky…..you are preaching to the choir. I live adjacent to an Indian reservation. One that in recent times has done quite well raking in monies from tourists and NY residents selling every thing from non-taxable cigarettes and gasoline to a 20 story gambling resort and casino. So in many ways the Native American is getting his “revenge”.

The real enemy of ALL PEOPLES IS GREED. Covetousness of any material substance. There’s a glass poster above my kitchen table that contains Chief White Cloud’s “Circle of Life” speech. You might want to read it.

The Circle Of Life

“Mankind has a poor understanding of life. He mistakes knowledge for wisdom. He tries to unveil the holy secrets of our father, the Great Spirit. He attempts to impose his laws and ways on Mother Earth. Even though he, himself, is part of nature, he chooses to disregard and ignore it for the sake of his own immediate gain. But the laws of nature are far stronger than those of mankind. Man must awake at last, and learn to understand how litte time there remains before he will become the cause of his own downfall. And he has so much to learn. To learn to see with the heart. He must learn to respect Mother Earth-She who has given life to everything; to our brothers and sisters, the animals and plants; to the rivers, the lakes, the oceans and the winds. He must realize that this planet does not belong to him, but that he has to care for and maintain the delicate balance of nature for the sake of the wellbeing for our children and all future generations. It is the duty of mankind to preserve the earth and the creation of the Great Spirit. Mankind being but a grain of sand in the holy circle which encloses all of life.”
