I get the frustration, and I support your decision. What I do want to correct, is the incentive. You do not need how to code like zuckerberg. You do not need to develop projects on your own. The main reason why you could learn how to code, would be to adopt the way of thinking. The process behind cutting big problems into small solvable ones, and logically being able to fix those. That could be the driving force behind your learning.
