Human-Centered Design
Human-centered designers always start from the place of not knowing the answer to the problem they’re looking to solve.
Our studies related to Creativity Ecology were quite intense, we learned many new things which resulted in a totally new approach towards everything… we would have never thought that we going to start a new course this year…. we were mistaken…
We found IDEO’s online course: Human Centered Design. Of course we heard about IDEO before and since we really liked their creative approach we could not miss this opportunity. Thanks to our studies we were aware of design thinking which was applied for the first time in business processes by IDEO).
Human Centered Design. Even the name of the method piqued our curiosity which just has increased after completing the first 2 lessons.

Hear — Inspiration
During the hear phase, your Design Team will collect stories and inspiration from people. You will prepare for and conduct field research.
Create — Ideation
In the Create phase, you will work together in a workshop format to translate what you heard from people into frameworks, opportunities, solutions, and prototypes. During this phase you will move together from concrete to more abstract thinking in identifying themes and opportunities, and then back to the concrete with solutions and prototypes.
Deliver — Implementation
The Deliver phase will begin to realize your solutions through rapid revenue and cost modeling, capability assessment, and implementation planning. This will help you launch new solutions into the world.
Colourful, empathy, sustainability, solving social problems, human-centered and creativity. Just a couple of keywords that were introduced in the beginning.
After forming our team, we chose our own challange instead of choosing one from the course list. As documentation is an important part of the process, this blog will introduce the whole process, the challange and what we learn.

Soon you can meet the CreatEco Team as well and follow the story in English.
