They are the generation that we’re all selling to and the most aware of technology. This is the primary reason for me writing this piece.

How digitally savvy are Millennials?

According to eMarketer, 75% are available cross device, meaning that they browse and are connected with multiple devices (smartphone, tablet, pc). To bring it a bit into perspective, only 5% are only using PC.
Recent research also shows that the Internet of Things is one of the biggest tech trends in 2016. This further indicates that people are open to having their devices connected and being able to operate them on the go.
This generation is definitely mobile and generally know what is going on in tech.

Why should this matter to you?

There are two main reasons why this should matter to you as entrepreneur:

  • Availability; If your business is not available through mobile devices in this digital world of the Millennial, you are undoubtedly losing out. There is so much information to their disposal, so if you aren’t on the scene, you’ve already lost.
  • Market size; For a smart entrepreneur, he is always looking to improve, so let’s say that his target audience consisted out of Generation X or the baby boomers, then he can expand this target by going mobile.
