Part of the reason why people use ad-blockers is that a great portion of the banner ads (or whatever form they come in) out there are linked to malicious content. It just so happens to be that the advertisement business that Google has all over the place coincides within the same domain that people have added to their ad-blockers. AdBlock Plus for instance uses the EasyList as its Default set of AdBlock rules — it includes much of the ads promoted through Google’s AdWords service. Some of the other browsers that are out there now have incorporated ad-blocking features into them and have placed those ads into their lists as well. It’s quite unlikely that people will purposefully place exceptions to exclude certain ads from specific domains for Google’s Ads, or for any Ad at all.
