User Research is Overrated

A good read Jonathan, thanks! In my experience (from both sides of the fence) the “user research” has got more to do with getting the agency up to speed rather than producing anything that is going to benefit the ultimate outcome of the project. I like the ‘Show Shit Early’ approach but you can get bogged down in opinion rather than evidence-based design as that inevitably comes later.
