Here’s what we’re currently looking for:

Marketing and Social Media Manager

We are looking to hire a LA-based Marketing and Social Manager who would be responsible for initiating and executing strategic audience growth and engagement initiatives as well as oversee all owned social channels.

Day-to-day duties include:

— Create weekly marketing strategies around all existing podcasts

— Track and brainstorm around all necessary assets to execute marketing plans, and work closely with designer when necessary in their production

— Oversee marketing and promotional strategies around launching new podcasts

— Manage and execute on a content plan for all social media accounts

— Work with CCO to develop breaking news and branding strategies

— Initiate and oversee online community engagement activations such as AMAs, Q+As and livestreams

— Analyze and report on data trends across all social platforms

— Communicating in voice of brands, engaging and responding to posts across platforms

Candidates must have:

— 3+ years experience in digital marketing and digital strategy

— A deep understanding of social platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and Twitch

— A passion and day-to-day interest in politics and the news

— Familiarity with deep dives on data

— Experience creating plans around data-driven online media buys

— Be self-motivated, proactive, scrappy, creative, accountable, and kind


We are also looking to hire an LA-based producer who would be responsible handling logistics and production across our entire slate of podcasts.

Day-to-day duties include:

— Booking and scheduling guests and cohosts

— Liaising with our production support to book studio time

— Collaborate on building episodes by providing segment ideas, creative and technical support

— Work with hosts and producers on arranging any necessary elements to complete episodes (i.e. research, video + visual assets)

— Research support

— Liaising with the sales team to ensure hosts have pertinent ad copy for each show

— Live production support for Lovett Or Leave It

— Liaise with editor on notes and edits for final cut

Candidates must have:

— 2+ years of radio, TV, or podcast production

— Experience managing live events and / or location shoots

— Strong communication and organization skills

— Understanding of journalism and journalistic ethics

— A passion and day-to-day interest in politics and the news

— A self-motivated, proactive, creative, accountable and nice attitude
