Conversations: How To Talk On Twitter (#CfChat)

Conversation is the core of any social media platform.

Let’s be Twitter specific.

If you keep on tweeting without mentioning anyone, without using those amazing retweet and fav buttons, without giving a thought about what others are saying, they will definitely return the favour by not acknowledging your existence!

So we decided to ask you what do you think about conversations on Twitter.

When you are done understanding what everyone thinks about the interactions that happen on Twitter a little Social Magician will tell you how magic works at Crowdfire. Read on and reach to the root of the magic.

This is just an overview of what happened 28th May 2015. We all learned a little, interacted a lot and gave a meaning to the topic: Conversations.

Here is what we have to say:

Ask questions. Ask smart questions. Ask tricky questions. If you are witty enough answer someone’s question. Don’t always rely on people talking to you, go ahead start a conversation!

End goals always need to be clear. Networking is really important here. Network, help fellow tweeps, make your circle strong and inturn you will get blog traffic, support and a lot. You might find your best friend on the other side of the screen.

Depends on the use case. If you have a small account (read a few thousand followers) and only one account, Twitter is good enough for you. For multiple/big accounts Hootsuite and Tweetdeck work really well.

DMs are really great! Some of them might be a little creepy and that’s when you use the block option Twitter has given us. Most of the times DMs can be a really good way to have one on one conversations and building relationships.

Twitter analytics is awesome! We do not need to look any further because we have our very own Stats which solve most of our “number-reach-competition” issues.

Now you know our little secrets and you are ready to recite a little magic spell of your own on Twitter!

Do not forget to participate in #cfchat happening every Thursday 12:30pm EST and 4:30pm GMT!
