I t has been 19 days since Wuhan’s quarantine. The Coronavirus pandemic is still severe. Provinces and cities all across China have been on highest alert since the beginning of the new year. As a Shanghai-based blockchain video game company in the eye of the storm, we have been wondering how we can support Wuhan during the pandemic.

February 14th is Valentine’s Day. It is the start of our third round of Genesis City auctions on OpenSea. Because of recent events, we have decided to add Wuchang (the Medieval name for Wuhan) to the list. For those who are new to CryptoCrusades, the game is set during the Medieval period (500–1500CE). All Genesis Cities use their Medieval names.

Instead of raising money for game development, all proceeds from this auction will be used to purchase medical supplies for Wuhan’s medical staff, who are fighting tirelessly on the front lines of the epidemic.

On February 7th, an unchangeable tombstone for Dr. Li Wenliang, “whistleblower” of the coronavirus epidemic, was built with a block height of 9,432,824 on the Ethereum blockchain. Because of the blockchain’s security and permanence, Dr. Li’s deeds will forever be enshrined on the blockchain. At CryptoCrusades, we’ve been inspired by this event.

On a difficult Valentine’s Day for many, we hope to make life easier for those fighting for their loved ones.

Let’s get through this together!
