After half a year of development… the CryptoPets team is proud to announce the Beta will be coming mid-June.

GAME SYNOPSIS
You’ve heard of everything from kitties to alpacas to shrimp on the blockchain. So what are CryptoPets?
CryptoPets introduces a polished gaming experience and has created its economics around player participation. Most importantly, we’ve put in months of development and were able to take our community’s feedback into consideration. What we have learned over the course of that development has been critical to preparing us for the next few months as we ready ourselves to launch the game.
We’re proud to unveil some of the first footage of the CryptoPets mockups. Here’s a first look at our ANIMATED marketplace from the CryptoPets Alpha featured down below:
As you can tell, there are many more pets than the five we’ve formally unveiled. We can’t wait for our community to meet all the creatures that’ll make you dig up your trashed crypto-filled hard drives and give us your shitcoins. Be sure to be on the lookout for official pet releases coming soon!

Our website is being updated to reflect the latest changes to the game. You can currently see a placeholder for our new landing page. From here you’ll be able to enter the Beta, read the game development update logs, and contact us. Tired of using the Spankchain platform, come have some good wholesome family fun with your CryptoPets ;)

FIRST CONTEST: PRE-BETA STICKER CONTEST
If you’ve been tuning into our community channels, you should know our Sticker Contest is a great chance to get a head start on being a Crypto Master. The #CPStickerContest has been going strong thanks to some kickass artwork from our community members. We had DOZENS of entries, so selecting the final contestants for the bracket was pretty difficult. The contest has been a success so far, and the competitors are inching closer and closer towards the final round! Be sure to join our Telegram and Discord channels to stay up to date with the latest contest news and announcements on how to win free pets.
The official bracket is up! The quality of the submissions was remarkably strong, so pairing the brackets was pretty difficult!

Just today we’ve been informed that the CryptoPets wiki has been created on Gamepedia. Gamepedia has nearly 5 million articles written across 1900+ games from over 1.2 million contributors. This is a huge win for CryptoPets to introduce our game to the ever expanding gaggle of gamers beyond the traditional realm of crypto.
Gamepedia is a platform to feature our community’s questions and contributions. So please help us to create a strong online presence here!
New Office Opened!
The CryptoPets team opened a new office at Alley, DC at the Washington, D.C. location. The office will soon be a testing spot for Verizon’s experimental 5G network. We love what the Alley team has done to host us, and couldn’t be more excited for the months to come.
