We hope everyone had a happy holiday season and a good start to the new year. Here are some updates from the CryptoCurve team from December and the first week of 2019:

Private Sale Token Distribution

The initial wave of CURV tokens were distributed to private sale investors on 5 January 2019. This initial wave consisted of the 25% token bonus that private sale investors were eligible for. The remaining tokens will be released in five equal increments from February through June 2019. As an illustrative example, a private sale investment of 100 CURV tokens would be distributed as 25 CURV in January, and 20 CURV each of the following five months for a total of 125 CURV (including the bonus). If you have any questions please email us at privatesale@cryptocurve.io.

Pooling Going Live in January

Pooling will allow users to create, manage, and join KYC compliant investment pools

Curve Wallet Beta users will soon have access to brand new pooling features when the latest version of Curve Wallet Beta is pushed live, with an aim for the end of January. The launch of pooling is an exciting milestone in the ongoing development of the Curve Wallet. The new pooling features will allow KYC’d users to create and manage compliant investment pools within the Curve Wallet. We look forward to hearing your questions and feedback on pooling when it goes live later this month.

New Staking Features Coming in 2019

CURV staking has been a key feature of the Curve Wallet from the beginning, but we are excited to share that new staking features are on the way. The dev team has begun work on staking features to support other proof-of-stake currencies, such as WAN, NavCoin, NEO, and ETH 2.0. These features will make it easy for users to manage their stakes across multiple coins and blockchains all within the Curve Wallet. Users will be able to manage their current stakes, analyze stake ROI with a breakdown of rewards and profits so far. Please stay tuned for more information about staking features in the coming months.

Bounty Token Rewards On the Way

Thank you to all of our community members who participated in our bounty contest in Q4 and congratulations to the winners! CURV token rewards will be released to Curve Wallet addresses of successfully KYC’d bounty winners by the end of the month. Please be on the lookout for emails from bounty@cryptocurve.io with more information. As always, please send us an email at bounty@cryptocurve.io if you have any questions.

Full Curve Wallet Beta Functionality Restored

While private sale CURV tokens were being released portions of Curve Wallet Beta functionality were temporarily locked, including the ability to send CURV and ability to view WAN private keys. Now that fund distribution has begun, full functionality of the Curve Wallet Beta has been restored. Please contact our admins on Telegram with any questions.

MyCryptoCurve Wallet

We have had some questions from the community regarding the functionality of MyCryptoCurve Wallet (CryptoCurve’s offline wallet hosted at https://wallet.cryptocurve.xyz). Unfortunately MyCryptoCurve wallet is not cross-compatible with other Wanchain wallets. This was part of the initial design of MyCryptoCurve which was intended to allow users to reclaim WAN that was erroneously sent to an ETH address. We are working on updates to MyCryptoCurve to improve this functionality.
