I feel you. I’ve been marketing for 10 months at this point and it’s only in the past 2–3 months that I can quantitatively measure the impact of my work on the company bottom line.

Keep learning more about your company’s need and marketing as a field. Eventually you’ll start to get a sense for a) what needs to be done and b) what will also make you look like a valuable team player.

P.S. Totally agree with you about incestuous marketing (found your post on GrowthHackers btw…).
