Whenever I open up my twitter after a new episode of Game of Thrones was just aired, I see my feed being blown up with people commenting how amazing the episode was and how they cant believe what just happened. World events and Game of Thrones are connected because in both of these worlds, people are missing out on what is really going on and are too focused on nit picking at smaller details that will have little to no effect on history. Maybe that is why people are so interested in Game of Thrones, because we have similar issues in our culture. My perception of all the seasons of Game of Thrones that I have watched. The entertaining part for me was how throughout most episodes you would hear someone say at least once, winter is coming and how they need to prepare themselves and their families for it and how many men will die fighting to save cities. Yet everyone in the show was too consumed in politics, and fighting over the Iron throne and not trying to prepare to defend against winter. Which ties nicely to current events in our culture, we have been fighting in the Iraq war and it is now the longest war in American History, yet you dont hear about it in the news anymore. The only thing you hear about it is how president Trump is terrible and needs to be impeached and how the presidential race was rigged and that he partnered with Russia.
