They do not want to know that the “good jobs” of today require technological skills they may not have because of their education. That the manufacturing jobs of yesteryear will not return because of automation, not the other. That this is a service economy and thus, service jobs require better pay if we are to rebuild any semblance of a middle class for everyone.

I completely agree with this — but I mean, “white feelings”, common. Can we not judge people by their skin color. There was a surge among white, black, latino and women voters for Trump. It isn’t really accurate to say this is a “white” thing..

All these accusations about white supremacy seem to stand by themselves without any proof. Historically you can point to many whites who hated minorities and many white who joined them fought to the bone for their equality.

And, again, I completely agree with you on this point. I don’t think Trump or his voters are right on this one. But it’s unnecessarily inflammatory to pin this on racism… really.
