I’m sure this piece you wrote wasn’t meant to encompass the entire Trump issue, but you and many other’s would be more effective at persuading Trump supporters if you made logical arguments against the merits of his plans (which there are many)— without calling for some emotional, drama-driven performance out of him.
I mean, do you think someone is guilty until proven innocent? Or the other way around?
Do you want to share proof, or, a step-by-step explanation of how Trumps plans actually have racist intentions? I would want to know if I was missing something — in the plan itself.
Do you think a wall is a good idea? Or a bad idea? Too expensive for the value? Cons? Pros?
What about his tax plan? Unrealistic? Would a compromise be acceptable or do you think it’s the wrong direction all together and why?
It would be so much more valuable and interesting to hear your logical arguments against his plans, rather than trying to make a heartfelt case which tries to connect what he puts down on a piece of paper in an office building in New York City to the dinner table conversation of a close minded family in the middle of some fly-over state.
No disrespect — I think overall it was a great, open minded article.
