Milestone

· If Ben Roethlisberger throws for 238 yards he will become the eighth quarterback to top 50,000 yards passing, the fifth to do it in less than 200 games.

· Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles can become the sixth team in NFL history to win five games in a row by 20 or more points.

Redemption

· Josh Gordon returns from suspension for substance abuse that cost him the entire 2015–16 seasons. The last time he returned from suspension he torched the Atlanta Falcons for 120 yards on eight targets in Week 11, 2014.

Revenge

· Travis Benjamin lifted lids off opposing defenses for four years in Cleveland before leaving via free agency in 2016.

· Jay Cutler was the franchise quarterback in Denver before Josh McDaniels took over and traded him to the Chicago Bears in 2009.

· Adam Gase was passed over for Gary Kubiak when the Denver Broncos sought to replace John Fox in the 2015 offseason.

· Ted Ginn Jr. played two stints with the Carolina Panthers in 2013, then 2015–16.

· Robbie Gould was released by the Chicago Bears for Connor Barth in 2016.

· Philip Rivers leads the red-hot Los Angeles Chargers against the winless Cleveland Browns who notched their only victory in 2016 against the Chargers in Week 16.

· Julius Thomas flourished with Peyton Manning under center, but was allowed to head to Jacksonville via free agency in 2015.
