People are missing the major points of what’s going on, which this article points out quite well. This isn’t about unlocking the phone, Apple has complied with these supoenas nearly 100 times before. The stance is against the ‘override’ OS version that the FBI wants.

Apple is trying to stand on a moral high horse they really don’t have though because of the dozens of times they’ve unlocked devices before. They can argue being in favor of our privacy rights all they want, but they’ve stomped on them before.

They need to defend themselves in an honest manner; just admit they’re refusing the request because of the obvious abuse it could cause. It has nothing to do with privacy, it’s entirely about the security matter and their own OS/Device protection
