We Are Witnessing the Birth of a New Generation of Community NFTs With CyberBunny
--
What is CyberBunny?
CyberBunny(creation by cyberworld’s team) is a special type of crypto asset that allows holders to prove their ownership of real or digital items.
While this might sound pretty incomprehensible to the average person, you need to appreciate that in today’s ever-increasing digital world it’s incredibly difficult to authenticate or exercise ownership over all kinds of things. However CyberBunny can make it easy.
CyberBunny is a collection of 10,000 genesis CyberBunny NFTs — unique digital collectibles living on the bnb blockchain. Your CyberBunny ID is your CyberWorld membership identity, and grants access to members-only benefits, the first of which is access to CyberWorld, a new area to explore web3 and metaverse. Future gameplay and perks can be unlocked by the community through roadmap activation.
How does CyberBunny work?
We’ve already identified that in order to be able to prove ownership of something digital, there needs to be some form of a transparent, immutable ledger that maintains a constant record of all CyberBunny, who owns them and where the files that they point to are kept.
This is where blockchain technology comes in. By leveraging the publicly distributed, immutable nature of blockchains, CyberBunny can be stored in a transparent way, allowing anyone to check the authenticity of any CyberBunny at any time.
Each time a CyberBunny is transferred or created, the action is permanently recorded on the blockchain and timestamped, meaning it’s possible to trace any single CyberBunny right back to its genesis — something that’s pretty handy if you want to make sure your CyberBunny is genuine or not.
Why does CyberBunny matter?
Non-fungible tokens (NFT) have become hugely popular with crypto users and companies alike because of the way they revolutionized the gaming and collectibles space. Since June 2017 there has been a total of $25 billion spent on NFTs, including a further $21 billion in secondary sales.
For artists, being able to sell artwork in digital form directly to a global audience of buyers without using an auction house or gallery allows them to keep a significantly greater portion of the profits they make from sales.
CyberBunny is the first animal IP series launched by CyberWorld. The Genesis Rabbit is limited to 10,000, and the offspring of CyberBunny are all bred by Genesis Rabbit. This means that CyberBunny will be the entry ticket into the CyberWorld metaverse.
Why does CyberBunny have value?
Like all NFTs, supply and demand are the key market drivers for price. Due to the scarce nature of CyberBunny and the high demand from gamers, collectors and investors, people are often prepared to pay a lot of money for them.
In some CyberBunny’ dexs, Transaction fees can also be programmed into CyberBunny so that the owner receives a percentage of sale profits each time the artwork is sold to a new owner.
CyberBunny has multiple value attributes, in addition to trading, auctioning, collecting, breeding and other playing methods. More importantly, it is an identity symbol. Owning a CyberBunny means that you have more privileges in CyberWorld.
In some cases, the value may come from exclusive lifestyle and social opportunities afforded by ownership of the CyberBunny. In others, it’s the CyberBunny’s association with established traditional luxury brands that makes it appealing. Just as when the now-ubiquitous QR codes first appeared, CuberBunny is a social experiment in potential use cases. While the financial rails have yet to be built, it is possible to currently envision real-world items of value, such as arts collections or club memberships, being associated with CyberBunny and transacted as digital assets.
