The “Divergent” Rape Scene: Here’s Why It Matters

If this isn’t psycho babble, I don’t know what is.
“Every woman knows Tris’s terror, knows the horror of walking home late at night, clutching keys like knives between her fingers. Every woman lives with the looming fear that her refusal, her no, won’t be taken seriously.”
Also I would like to point out that the author has definitely cherry picked the themes and underlying tones in this movie.
Basically the movie makes men out as rapists, cowards, group thinkers and murders. The only person that is spared these flaws is the main characters very alpha love interest.
This movie is very different than three hundred in that it sits on the opposite side of a spectrum.
