DAQRI Goes Green
Wishing a Happy St. Patrick’s Day from DAQRI Dublin
Nearly two years ago, DAQRI opened its European headquarters DAQRI International in Dublin, Ireland, laying the foundation for what would soon be a much wider international expansion of talent and tech. Though DAQRI International is no longer our sole European chapter, now joined by DAQRI Vienna and DAQRI UK, it still remains the emerald heart of our international team.
Located at Central Quay, in the Docklands area, DAQRI International currently hosts 33 employees, representing a diverse 10 different nationalities, and continues to attract new talent from the highly capable surrounding tech community. In fact, not only does it manage the biggest Customer Engineering team out of our various offices — a group of agile developers who create on multiple platforms, working closely with the sales department on proof of concepts for customers — but it’s also home to a robust Customer Success and Sales Operation team, who are very involved with leading processes and best practices development across all international departments.
As the home of all business development activities in Europe, DAQRI Dublin stays involved across our international teams and the surrounding tech community in Ireland. A frequent hub for hackathons, organizer of community educational events, and a promoter for the “women in tech” community, DAQRI is highly dedicated to the enrichment of the local population. They nurture talent around Ireland by sponsoring a handful of postgraduate students at the University of Cork, collaborate with local Universities and the network of multinational companies based in Ireland (through the Irish American Chamber of Commerce and the IDA), and work closely with the Science Foundation of Ireland. In supporting these efforts, DAQRI believes it will continue to see the Dublin tech community grow.
