The Trump Strategy for Winning the 2018 Mid Term Election and Being Victorious Afterwards

With the 2018 Mid Term elections less than 90 days away the Democrats and the media continue to talk about the supposed Blue Wave that will sweep the Republicans out of control of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate as well. It is inevitable, they say, since nearly everyone who voted for President Trump in 2016 regrets their choice because he is so, well, “yuck”.
If this sounds like 2016 all over again with the condescending attitude and lack of appreciation for “normal” Americans — you would be correct. The political and intellectual elite still don’t understand how ticked off the country is at them. The fact they are battling Trump the way they are — with hate and envy in order to force Trump out of office in any manner whatsoever — only makes Trump supporters want to back him even more. Even with 90+% negative stories, the media has not kept Trump’s approval numbers below 40%. Indeed, his approval is inching up which is driving the anti-Trump forces absolutely insane.
Thus we have two questions: 1) How does Trump translate the positive things he is doing for this country into votes for Republican House and Senate candidates none of whom is named Trump? 2) How can Trump use the mid-term voting results to help turn the tables on his accusers and be victorious?
Before we begin there is one thing everyone must realize about Trump — the only thing he likes better than winning is WINNING BIG. Therefore, he will take the confidence he has gained in beating 16 Republican primary opponents as well as the combined #FakeNews Media/Democrat party machine and turn the intensity up more than a few notches. And this does not take into account the potential seismic change in the black vote due to Kanye West and the #WalkAway campaign.
First, he keeps tweeting. Nothing focuses attention and the national debate better. When everyone, on both sides of the debate, keeps responding to one of Trump’s tweets then the voters will more likely cast their ballots based on the candidates reaction/support of Trump. In this way, Trump nationalizes these local races in much the same way the immensely successful 1994 House Republicans nationalized that election with the Contract with America.
Second, he holds 3–5 rallies per week from mid-September through the first week of November. At each rally Trump will continue to hammer his message of achievement, defending America against illegal immigration and peace in the world. Nothing energizes those “invisible” Trump voters like a rally.
Third, and perhaps most importantly, Trump starts declassifying documents showing:
- Democrat coordination with Russia before and during the 2016 campaign
- Corruption in the U.S. Intelligence Community and the FBI
- Democrat and media corruption involving national security secrets
The declassification will not come all at once. It will be a drip, trickle, stream, and then a river building to a crescendo after election day.
Why not have the crescendo culminate before election day?
The declassification will only need to begin before the elections since Republicans already are in a good place to win despite what the mainstream press is saying (this is being written on September 3rd). The president’s actions will only ensure this victory is larger than any of the pundits are predicting (my prediction is Republicans gain 6–10 seats in the House and 7 seats in the Senate).
However, Trump is never satisfied with just a win — he wants victory. In this case victory is vanquishing his opponents who have been attempting to undermine him (and America) for so long. To vanquish his opponents he doesn’t just beat them at the ballot box. They must pay for their lawlessness with convictions.
Convictions against the entrenched political and media elites can only happen if there is a tremendous groundswell of support for the legal action by the people. Polls alone won’t be enough and even a big victory in the mid terms alone won’t do it. But combine a big victory for Republicans (especially Trump supporting Republicans) with a huge surge of public outrage at the systemic travesties of justice that have occurred over the last decade and the stage is set for a massive house cleaning the likes of which America has not seen since the Civil War.
To accomplish this, the most damning declassifications must occur after the election to provide the necessary energy to ensure political support for this from the new Congress convening in January of 2019. The current Congress does not have the numbers, backbone or time to do anything very supportive. However, the new Congress will have a new Speaker of the House (Paul Ryan is retiring) who will be very beholden to President Trump for keeping a Republican Majority. The Senate will also have a much larger Republican majority with a much greater percentage of pro-Trump members replacing Never Trumpers like McCain, Flake and Corker.
The most interesting thing to watch will be the massive fight within the anti-Trump forces that will occur after the Republicans keep control of the House (most pundits concede the Senate will stay Republican) and it is obvious legal action against many “elite” members of the Deep State is forthcoming. Suddenly, all the guilty ones will be trying to save their own skin by turning on their “friends”. It happened with Watergate and it will be even bigger here because the corruption is exponentially greater. Once the dam is breached the flood will be enormous.
But what about Robert Mueller?!?
Heh, Mueller and his investigation will be so condemned by the declassified documents America will demand his investigation be shut down. President Trump will be only too happy to comply.
The winning will keep on coming and we may get to the point of getting tired of it — but I don’t think so. Besides, Trump has told us what he would say if we ever do get tired of winning.
In the end everyone just needs to remember this:
