Thanks so much for your sharing your valuable views on this issue, Andrea Cadelli, which is most appreciated. You are correct, not only does the monster manager “never win in the long term” but neither does the company/organization. Employers who turn their heads while monster managers poison the work culture will lose talented employees and gain a reputation for condoning a toxic workplace. That infamous reputation will subsequently hurt the employer in trying to recruit the best talent, who will usually go the competition — in addition to the other negative repercussions I point out in the article. In short, monster managers create a lose-lose-lose outcome for themselves, their employer and the workforce.
