Bullex Listing Spotlight: Ethereum (ETH)
Bullex will launch with Ethereum as one of its listed assets, but you shouldn’t expect any less, since DCORP and Bullex owe their existence to Ethereum. What is Ethereum? Ethereum is a blockchain platform first proposed by Vitalik Buterin in 2013 that built on the success of Bitcoin and brought new features to the world of cryptocurrencies. Many cryptocurrencies up to that point in time had been near clones of Bitcoin, but the whitepaper for Ethereum proposed a scripting language, called Solidity, that would allow for development of decentralized applications that run on the Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) via smart contracts.
The EVM is made up of an international network of computer nodes that process transactions and run the smart contracts providing Ethereum with near endless possibilities. “Smart contract” is a term coined by Nick Szabo and is really just a fancy way of saying computer code that executes in an immutable and irreversible fashion. DCORP’s initial coin offering (ICO) was run using Ethereum smart contracts, and the Venture Capital platform that will be launched is a decentralized autonomous organization that will use a series of complex smart contracts to facilitate voting, governance, and funding of projects among other things. Bullex will be launching as DCORP’s seed project, in place of the derivatives exchange, for the VC platform to generate value for DCORP’s token holders.
