Two new Token Partners!

Some of our very astute community members discovered a couple of our partnerships ahead of our official announcements, so to clear up any doubt we would like to formally announce Karma.red and Aniko as two of our new partners!

Karma.red is a person-to-person lending platform that had a successful ICO in Q4 of 2017. Any participant in the network can play any role such as investor, borrower, guarantor, lawyer, auditor or seller. Karma also allows its users to vote for various items and important decisions within the platform. Karma is the first Token Partner resulting from our visit to Hongkong. The airdrop will start Monday June 4!

Aniko is a soon-to-be-launched ICO for a service that will allow for people and businesses to send money across borders faster and cheaper than ever before. It will be powered by their “crypto-arbitrage engine” that will quickly and efficiently convert fiat from one country and currency into a different country’s fiat through cryptocurrency trading. This is performed behind the scenes, so the user has a quick seamless experience.

DCORP will receive a portion of the total token supply to be used for Academy Airdrops and the further funding of our partnership program. The details of the amount of tokens to be airdropped and the timing of the airdrops are still being defined, but more news will be announced when available.

We would like to give a brief update on Gladius as well. Video interviews for the academy course are being completed and edited now. There were some legal questions raised by Gladius, but those have been answered satisfactorily by the consultants of Gladius, so once the video edits are complete, the course can be launched!

What is a Token Partnership?

We have also seen some concerns and confusion over what exactly a partnership means with DCORP, so what exactly does a partnership with DCORP involve?

DCORP partners have never received VC funds of other funds from the ICO. The only time a partner would receive VC funds is if a proposal were made on the VC platform after it launches and the proposal to fund a partner passes. DCORP will never give away VC funds.

What we do offer is crowdsale software, advisory and access to our network through the academy. The crowdsale software is what really sells at this stage (until the academy matures). DCORP B.V does also charge a fee for setting up the crowdsale software, the fee covers the hours we spend and an external review on the code. Charging a fee also ensures that we’re working with companies that are at a certain stage and can afford the fee. All of this is provided to the partner in an exchange for tokens that will be used in airdrops as part of the academy.

In offering these services, one or more of our team members may also be added on the partner’s website as an advisor or team member. This is done at the discretion of the partner and will not detract from the progress of DCORP. Please note that some of these listings are purely ceremonial. And above all: any minimal time commitments will be outweighed by the benefits of the airdrop to investors and ongoing partnership.

Changed mechanism for airdrops — part 2

As explained in our last newsletter our Token Partners demanded a change in the distribution mechanics of the airdrop. As a part of this change we announced a referral program. And saw some emotions flare up. We now understand this is not a change to be taken lightly. Therefore we will take our time to develop a referral system that is fair and benefits us all.

This means that until we finalise the referral program, the airdrops look as follows:

The amount of tokens is split in two main parts:

  1. 90% for the airdrop
  2. 10% for DCORP as admin fee (writing courses, acquire new partners, etc.)

The 90% is split in a fixed part and a referral part:

  • 70% for the fixed part
  • 30% for the referral part

As long as the referral program is in development, the whole 90% is distributed as fixed part.

This fixed part is distributed according to tiers. A tier is based on an amount of DRPU/S.

Example: the base amount for Airdrop A is 25 tokens. You hold 1,000 DRPU. You see in the table that you are tier 4 so you get 3x the base amount. You’ll get 3x25 tokens.

The airdrop period is no longer time based, but runs until all tokens are allocated. This way we hope to be attractive for new users who can participate in all airdrops that have tokens left.

We do understand that some of you are not happy with the changed mechanics. Please keep in mind that if we do not change the mechanics we simply cannot get new Token Partners in.

Say goodbye…say hello

As you may have noticed Mike decided to leave DCORP. We thank him for his support over the last year and wish him all the best!

We also have a new team member: we welcome Erik Lyppens to the DCORP team! Erik has a strong background in Digital Marketing & Business Development. Erik will focus on regulatory content & processes incl. Privacy & GDPR and the implementation of the new exchange & all supporting processes.

GDPR

Erik works on the existing privacy policy to comply with the GDPR. He will post the new policy as soon as the changes are double-checked by our lawyers. Besides that he’ll set up the required processes for when a customer has data related questions, wants to unsubscribe from the newsletter, but still has a verified account, etc. It is a tedious process, but once done we are fully compliant!

Q&As

We share a daily Q&A via Twitter and Telegram. In case you missed these, we add these to our newsletter from now on. Here’s what you missed:

Q: Which payment gateways will Bullex support?
A: Frank Bonnet answered as follows: Bullex will integrate with European payment gateways, iDEAL being one of them.

Q: Are DCORP tokens pre-mined?
A: Frank Bonnet answered: The short answer is no. The interpretation leaves some room for discussion as pre-mining implies that the cryptocurrency is minable in the first place. However, in general the term pre-mine refers to a distribution process of cryptocurrency that is considered unfair. A certain amount of cryptocurrency would be allocated (or mined) to an address of the developer before allowing others to participate in the network. In the case of DCORP, all tokens were paid for and since DRP tokens are not mined but instead rely on the Ethereum network to do the mining part, no DRP tokens were pre-mined. The tokens that are allocated for the company are generated in three annual events, starting in October 2018. After the first year, 10% of the total supply is created and released to the company. After the second year 5% and finally 2.5% after the third year.

Q: Will we have TROLLBOX at our new exchange? (chatbox)
A: We don’t plan to support trollbox.

Q: What will the deposit/withdrawal limits be on bullex? Daily, weekly, monthly etc.?
A: We try to be very competitive in comparison to other exchanges. At this stage we do not know what the limits will be, or if DCORP token holders get certain perks (larger limits, reduced fees, etc.)

Q: Does DCORP ever give ICO funds to partners?
A: Frank Bonnet answered as follows: We never give any of the ICO funds to partners. We offer crowdsale software, advisory and access to our network through the academy in exchange for their tokens. The crowdsale software is what really sells at this stage (until the academy matures). DCORP B.V does also charge a fee for setting up the crowdsale software, the fee covers the hours we spend and an external review on the code. Charging a fee also ensures that we’re working with companies that are at a certain stage as they are at least able to pay the fee.

Q: Which payment methods will you be supporting in Denmark?
A: We are communicating with a 3rd party to support Paypal, Klarna, Visa dankort and Mastercard local payment gateways on Bullex for Denmark!

Legal Q and A:
Q: Can you tell us something about the innovation hub and why it benefits DCORP?
A: The Innovation Hub is a joint initiative of the AFM (the Dutch SEC) and DNB (the Dutch Central Bank)
and provides support on all questions about supervision and regulation relating to innovative financial
products and services including cryptocurrency related products and activities.”
