The purpose of this article is to introduce the DigiByte community to an organised community driven marketing initiative, the DigiByte Awareness Team. DigiByte Awareness Team (DGBAT) evolved from DigiByteWhite, the marketing efforts by DigiByte community member Dereck de Mézquita (@xeno_biologist).
The central team was formed in May. The goal is to help the community and to serve as a bottom up grassroots awareness campaign. We want to promote the DigiByte blockchain and instigate adoption across various sectors and platforms.
As members of the DigiByte community, we believe in the transformative power of DigiByte. When harnessed correctly by the right people DigiByte can contribute to building a better world.
We have multiple layers to our team, and multiple projects. To get an idea of how we run here is a quick visual representation on how DGBAT is organised:
We adopt a “do no harm” approach to spread awareness of DigiByte and to stimulate adoption. We work in tandem with the DigiByte Foundation’s core team.
The recent listing on DX.Exchange was brought to you by us here at DGBAT. We’ve also been engaged with top social media influencers in the space. We hope to do and bring you more results! We continue to reach out to companies and individuals whom may benefit from adoption our technology — DGB, Digi-ID, the DigiByte blockchain, etc.
We have identified our priorities as follows: general marketing (media production), outreach, and exchange listings. We would like to ask for community support; if you can contribute to the DGBAT general fund please do so.
We at DGBAT will be contributing the first 30 000 DGB to kick-start the fund. We promise to maintain transparency, and to always be open with you the community. We will be publishing a monthly newsletter where we detail our activities for each month, use of funds, and to share our successes.
We members of the DGBAT are proud to serve the DigiByte community and raise awareness for you the community. If you can make a contribution please scan our team’s QR code!
