HONG KONG, 7 December 2022 DTTD (pronounced “Dotted”), the Animoca Brands-backed mobile-first NFT social wallet that aims to make Web3 accessible to everyone, announces today it supports 1,000 commemorative NFTs for the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) to distribute to visitors in celebration of the museum’s opening for 100 days on 25 October 2022.

As one of the Hong Kong’s newest cultural institutions, the use of new technologies such as blockchain and NFTs help the museum to achieve its goals to promote the appreciation of Chinese culture through innovative technologies. The 1,000 NFT collection represents a celebration of the HKPM’s first 100 days of opening and achieving 500,000 visitors in less than four months. Each NFT is a specially designed ticket, with a unique color scheme that is special for each awardee.

DTTD had supported HKPM on the implementation of its NFT strategy for a few months, from ideation to execution. DTTD’s custodial wallet functions and user-first design, allowed HKPM to enable visitors, many without any prior Web3 experience, to mint their first NFTs.

“Our mission is to make the Web3 simple,” said Bosco Lin, Co-Founder and CEO of DTTD. “We are excited to support forward-thinking organizations such as the HKPM to introduce Web3 to the world. At DTTD, we aim to enable the next billion users to onboard into the space. Being able to help these visitors receive their first NFT and kickstart their journey into Web3 is the meaningful part of this opportunity.”

Awardees of the NFT ticket redemption program have been notified by HKPM.
