Not-so-Secret Admirer
I admired him. I wanted to be him. All of his travels, his works, what he looked like on paper was everything that I wanted to be.
Things became real when I got closer. Behind the image that he displayed to the world was someone so lost and so far deep into his own thoughts that he churned his own complicated web of stories. He only sunk himself deeper into the negative abyss, while I silently admired his accomplishments, his mind, his life experiences…
I wanted to be there for him.
I wanted this man who has been so brave and fearless in so many aspects of his life, to carry that positive energy and fearlessness into his entire being.
Something we all learn I guess.
