Deflate gate to presidential hate

Alright, so trying to be funny through writing was far more difficult than I thought it would be. Here is my attempt to make some humor out of some of the biggest news stories today.

One of the top stories within the sports world today is the four game suspension of New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady. This is all following the incident that occurred when the Patriots supposedly deflated the footballs in a AFC championship win against the Indianapolis Colts. The four time super bowl champion stated that he was “as shocked as anybody” which makes sense considering you’re usually going to be pretty surprised that somebody caught you doing something that you figured you had covered up quite well. In a way I sort of feel bad for poor Tom, those footballs can sure get heavy and it’s always important to take care of your body. But no worries, he should have plenty of time to rest up his arm with this three game suspension. I’m on the edge of my seat to see what else the patriots can come up with!

In other news, the presidential race is really catching fire! In other words these candidates are going up in flames with the amount of hate they are both receiving. This may be the first presidential race in which the candidates are actually talking their way out of the running to be the president of the United States. All in all though, it’s important that our political system can work together for the people of the United States, so it’s nice to see that Trump and Clinton are getting along great! That being said, sometimes being optimistic doesn’t always pan out.
