The problem is, there IS NO OTHER “legal action” that the courts will take seriously. If you try to actually press criminal charges for sexual harassment, you might LITERALLY be told that it’s a civil/administrative matter that has to be taken up through litigation or the labor board.

We can’t get our legal system to take women seriously when they’re covered with blood and bruises. “Well, you were drinking an AWFUL lot…” What makes you think a woman won’t be callously rebuffed (or even rebuked) for trying to do anything but sue?
