Those are definitely valid concerns. (I’m personally not a fan of critics assuming what the “average” church member believes and using that as a weapon against thoughtful apologetics.) Another concern that I have is the bloggers using the platform as a way to score points for their “fans back home” rather than being truly honest about their own feelings.
I’m still glad to see an open dialogue taking place, though. I don’t see their blog as a perfect platform — but rather as a small peace offering between two sides whose direct interactions are often bitter rather than respectful.
