America Needs a Female Mass Shooter

Gender equality is still a hot button issue in America. According to the OECD’s 2017 report, The Pursuit of Gender Equality: An Uphill Battle, men earn approximately 15% more than their female counterparts. That’s about 81 lady cents to every big, beefy, masculine dollar. So what are women to do? What’s the quickest way to shatter the glass ceiling? With a hail of bullets.

America has a long, rich history of mass shooters. 98 percent of these mass shootings were committed by men. Two happened in the last 35 days! So what gives ladies? What’s preventing more females from pulling the trigger, literally? Instead of giving birth to new life, it’s time to start taking it away with all the fire and brimstone a pair of ovaries can muster up.

There are more public mass shooting in the U.S. than any other country in the world. We are a nation that has been driven to fear schools, movie theaters, music festivals, churches, and, most importantly, men (particularly white ones). Think of the amount of respect a woman would earn by pulling off the country’s newest deadliest mass shooting. Unlike the men before her, whose motives range from bullying to ISIS to feeling the world owes them something (and other delusions), the only motive a woman needs is the desire to single-handedly change this nation forever.

While there have been female serial killers before, such as Aileen Wuornos, Nannie Doss, and Kristen Gilbert, none have reached the highest position of deadliest mass shooter in U.S. history. In fact, no woman has even attempted it. How can we empower our daughters to grow up believing they can be anything they want to be, even a mass shooter, without role models to look up to?

It seems that every other month a new headline reads, “Deadliest Mass Shooting in America,” and every time it’s been achieved by yet another man. The day a female pulls this off will send precisely the right historical signal to women and girls everywhere, not to mention the effect it will have on men. When this occurs, it will prove once and for all that a woman do anything a man can, including killing a ton of innocent strangers in a public place.

Defined as four or more deaths, a mass shooting seems like a relatively easy number of murders to pull off, even for the most unqualified, untrained gunwoman. Some mothers have pushed more babies out of their bodies in a single day than that. Michelle Duggar was launched into the spotlight for giving birth to a total of 20 children. Imagine if those children had been her number of victims instead?

We live in a country founded on opportunity, as well as the right to bear arms. It’s about time women took advantage of this. Women need to prove themselves now so future generations know anything is possible. All it takes is determination, and an arsenal of legally-obtained guns and ammo, to make it happen. The empowerment a female mass shooter will breed is exactly what the fight for gender-equality, and this country, needs.
