It’s Not About Race!
John Metta

Loved reading this. It is insightful and thought-provoking. It should lead to the kind of discussion that should occur to unravel this mess of “accepting cultural differences” (read racism), but, alas it won’t. And not because some people are unwilling it is people just can’t even comprehend. It’s like walking — until you’ve experienced what it means to not be able to walk due to some paralysis you just, simply, walk. No thought on the action or effort needed to do it. Therefore, it takes much effort to understand and folks usually give up before the breakthrough occurs. Peace.
